I live and work in North Lincolnshire where I juggle running a design & marketing agency with my husband and fitting in as much painting as I can.

I have always loved art and studied an Arts Foundation course before deciding to pursue a career in marketing and graphic design. I worked in Manchester in advertising & marketing for many years but decided to move back to Lincolnshire when my son was small.

I have painted all my life and always return to the medium of watercolour as its unpredictability means that I have to work with it, rather than make it conform. Unlike oils or acrylics, there are no second chances with watercolour and I think this helps bring energy to the pictures.
